One of the more limited offerings is the 2007 Pinot Noir Frattey Shams Vineyard (only 150 cases produced). The medium dark ruby color is followed by sweet currant, plum, forest, and cherry aromas, seductive, silky tannins, decent acidity, and a lush style. Drink it over the next 3-4 years. Tel. Dark red. Pungent aromas of cherry and dark berries, anise and dried rose. Cherry-vanilla, candied licorice and tobacco on the palate, with dusty tannins adding a dry note. Finishes with good cling and slightly bitter tannins. I hope that this will become more pliant with some bottle age.
