Tasting notes
A blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Syrah and 13% Malbec, Viader's 2020 Black Label is a dark, super-ripe effort, laced with scents of black cherries, black plums and spice notes that recall Christmas-like hints of pine boughs, cinnamon and anise. It's full-bodied and richly textured, with velvety tannins and savory elements of earth and black olive on the finish.

The 2020 Red Blend Black Label, which checks in as 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Syrah, and 13% Malbec, is a ripe, full-bodied, dense red with outstanding aromatics of black fruits, peppery herbs, and a touch of chocolate. As with many 2020s, it comes up a tad short on elegance, but this has plenty of depth and richness and is nicely balanced. I’d be happy to drink a bottle.
Aromas of moss, bark, blackberry and blackcurrant. Full-bodied with velvety, chewy tannins. Deep, with good intensity and length. Rosemary and black pepper come through. Dry finish. 53% cabernet sauvignon, 34% syrah and 13% malbec. Drink now.
