Good deep red. Strawberry, mocha, nutty oak and a meaty nuance on the nose; lower-toned than the Vosne premier crus. Supple, broad, ripe and dry; displaying more volume than complexity or perfume today. But here the broad tannins are sweeter and arrive later. The wine's chewy material suggests it will reward extended aging, but I still find this a tad rustic.
