2012 Carlisle Grüner Veltliner Steiner Vineyard

(all stainless steel; no malolactic fermentation): Light, bright gold. Meyer lemon, green apple, ginger and white flowers on the pungent nose. Dry and tightly wound, offering bitter citrus zest and quinine flavors and a touch of bitter herbacity. In an uncompromising, linear style but in no way hard-edged. Finishes spicy and long, with echoing lemon and floral qualities.
