Score 93/100 · Drink 2021-2027, Jeb Dunnuck, Jul 2021

As with all the wines here, the 2019 Pinot Noir Wohler Vineyard has a solid sense of typicity, displaying the classic richer, more rounded aromas and flavors of the Russian River Valley. Lots of black cherries, darker berries, spicy herbs, and loamy earth as well as just a tiny hint of cola emerge from the glass, and this beauty is medium to full-bodied, with a soft, approachable style, light tannins, and outstanding length on the finish. More up-front and ready to go, I suspect it’s best enjoyed over the coming 4-6 years.

Aromas of red cherries, incense, dried violets and baking spices on the nose. It’s medium-bodied with succulent tannins. Sweet and savory character with a creamy and juicy texture. Flavorful finish. Drink now.
