Score 93/100 · Drink 2020-2026, Erin Brooks, Wine Advocate, Feb 2020
The 2016 Pinot Noir Soberanes Vineyard has a medium ruby color and is slow to unfurl to ripe cranberries, red cherries and blackberries with accents of underbrush, dried flowers, tree bark and a spicy undercurrent. The medium-bodied palate offers earthy, pleasantly bitter fruits with a firmer, albeit finely grained frame, with just enough freshness to carry the long finish.

Score 93/100 · Drink 2019-2029, Jeb Dunnuck, Feb 2019
The 2016 Pinot Noir Soberanes Vineyard offers a darker edge with lots of cassis and blackberry fruits intermixed with plenty of earthy minerality and underbrush notes. Medium-bodied, firm and edgy, it has loads of potential but needs another year in bottle.
