The 2015 Riesling Zeltinger Schlossberg Auslese *** (Golden Capsule) is clear and complex on the concentrated but precise, fresh and mineral nose. On the palate, this is a clear, fresh, piquant and salty Auslese with remarkable piquancy, grip and mineral tension. The finish is clear and finessed, revealing a firm structure and stimulating purity. However, this Schlossberg needs its time to develop, but it will always be the more dramatic rather than finessed and delicate Riesling.
