Score 89/100 · Robert Parker, Dec 2008

Fisher’s 2006 Chardonnay Mountain Estate Vineyard exhibits notes of honeysuckle, crushed rocks, white currants, and lemon blossom. Drink this very good effort over the next several years. As it does elsewhere in northern California, 2007 appears to be a much stronger vintage for Bordeaux varietals at Fisher. (not yet released) Tel. (707) 539-7511; Fax (707) 539-3601

Pale yellow-gold. Leesy aromas of spices and citrus fruits; with aeration this smelled more like a pina colada. At once sweet and bright, with moderately thick stone fruit and citrus flavors nicely framed by harmonious acidity and underlying stoniness. Finishes with very good breadth and length.
