(Fisher has now stopped purchasing chardonnay fruit; this wine, from vines around the property, is Fisher's only chardonnay in 2000) Pale gold color. Bright aromas of pineapple and more tropical fruits, complicated by clove spice. Big, rich, supple and flavorful, with notes of pineapple, clove and game. Part of this wine did not go through malolactic fermentation.
