Tasting notes
Quiet a lot of menthol character, as well as blackberry purée and dried elderberries with some raisins. Bold on the palate with chewy tannins and a fruit-forward finish. Drink now.

The 2016 Cabernet Franc is resonant and unctuous in the glass, with tremendous fruit density that powers through to the finish. Raspberry jam, white chocolate, spice, rose petal and new leather all fill out the wine's ample yet mid-weight frame effortlessly. This is another very pretty and complete wine from Barnett.
Blended of 94% Cabernet Franc and 6% Merlot, the deep purple-black colored 2016 Cabernet Franc reveals a nose of raisin cake and baked plums with touches of Chinese five spice, hoisin and sautéed herbs. Full-bodied with mouth-filling baked fruits and raisiny layers, it has a chewy texture and somewhat tart finish.
