Tasting notes
The 2014 Muscat of Alexandria Jackass Hill is pale gold in color with a nose of grape juice, lychees and rose water with hints of allspice and Turkish delight plus a waft of acacia honey. The palate is very sweet, concentrated and spicy with a wonderfully perfumed nature and fabulous purity, finishing epically long with a refreshing lift. 98 cases produced.

The 2014 Muscat Alexandria Jackass Hill is made from Muscat grapes planted in Jackass Hill. Gentle hints of apricot, mint, orange marmalade, white flowers and chamomile shape this attractive light to medium-bodied sweet white wine.
About the producer

Martinelli is a Sonoma benchmark for vineyard-designate bottlings—wines built to highlight how strongly a single site can shape Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Zinfandel. Across the range, the focus stays consistent: small-production bottlings that feel distinctly tied to where they’re grown.
