Saturated ruby. High-toned, port-like aromas of cooked raspberry, dark chocolate and menthol; I thought of zinfandel. Fat, sweet and a bit stewy, with soft flavors of raspberry and mocha. I would have guessed New World grenache from the palate. Finishes with sweet, building tannins and some alcoholic warmth.
