Score 92+/100 · Drink 2017-2024, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Feb 2016

A dense, meaty wine, the 2014 Pinot Noir Abbey Harris Vineyard is a bit wild and rough around the edges, but it was also just bottled. Here the impression is of density and gravitas, within the Anthill style, of course. Game, smoke, red cherry and tobacco wrap around the powerful finish. Readers should give the 2014 at least 6-12 months to recover from bottling.
