Score 92/100 · Drink 2017-2022, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Mar 2017

Pale to medium ruby-purple colored, the 2014 Pinot Noir Madras Steiner Vineyard is produced from 10 different clones, using 100% whole cluster. It spends 22 months in French oak, 100% neutral. The whole cluster/stems stand out a little on the nose, with notes of fragrant herbs over the core of red cherries, cranberries and forest floor. It fills the mouth with plenty of red berry and earthy/herbal flavor layers with finely grained tannins and a lively backbone, finishing with excellent length. 100 cases were made.
