Tasting notes
Brought up in 30% new French oak with the same method of moving half the blend to concrete eggs after a year, the 2017 Meursault Les Narvaux has a rich, pure nose of honeyed orchard fruits, white flowers, charcoal, and some spice-like aromas and flavors. It too is rich, medium to full-bodied, and seamless on the palate, with flawless balance.

Butter, green apple, sweet spice, full and fleshy with a touch of salinity on the finish. Bold and convincing. (RH)
Nose dominated by lemon and stone. Less tight than the Charrons but still a bit skinny for its spine of acidity, offering very good delineation and juicy pineappley cut. This wine began a little edgy but harmonized somewhat with time in the glass, finishing with sneaky rising length.
