Score 92/100 · Drink 2021-2026, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Feb 2021

The 2016 Pan Pan Crac Crac is made with 63% Sauvignon Blanc and 37% Semillon from the Bavarian Lion vineyard in Knights Valley. A late-harvest wine with selected botrytized berries, it spent two years in amphora and one year in barrel. A full, rich wine with 76 grams per liter of sugar, it has a medium gold color and leaps from the glass with bold lemon marmalade, tangerine peel, pineapple tart and crystalized ginger scents with a waft of beeswax. It is lively on the palate, very citrusy and pure, finishing long. Sold in 375-milliliter bottles.
