(10% new oak): Bright, dark red. Knockout aromas of blue and purple fruits, violet and sweet oak. Dense, sweet and utterly seamless on the palate, with explosive purple fruit flavors complicated by saline minerality on the very long, mounting finish. The tannins here are utterly suave. A superb premier cru.

Healthy medium red. Vibrant aromas and flavors of blackberry, cassis, spices and flowers, with a hint of medicinal mintiness giving the nose even more lift. Refined in texture and classically dry but with a lovely touch of fruit sweetness. In a very elegant style, a bit drier than the Baudes, perhaps owing to the element of wild herbs, but equally concentrated.
