Tasting notes
Aged in 20% new French oak and boasting a bright youthful yellow/green-tinged hue, the 2022 Chardonnay Willamette Valley has a great nose of wet stones, salted pineapple, fresh Meyer lemon, lime zest, and a light floral note. Medium to full-bodied, it has a lovely, finessed feel through its long, tapered, floral finish. Drink 2024-2034.

The 2022 Chardonnay Willamette Valley was matured for 14 months in 20% new French oak and an additional two months in stainless steel. It's powerful, expressive and dynamic, with ever-changing aromas of white peach, elderflower, matchstick and beeswax, plus generous spicy undertones. The medium-bodied palate explodes with concentrated, savory flavors that range from stone fruit to honey. It's tempered by a spine of shimmery acidity and flinty character, and it has a long, nuanced finish.
The 2022 Chardonnay Willamette Valley wafts up with a gorgeous display of crushed yellow apples and tropical melon complemented by white flowers, chamomile and hints of lemon oil. This is nearly fleshy in feel yet refined, with crisp orchard fruits and brisk acidity firmed up by tactile mineral tones towards the close. The 2022 tapers off with a citrusy concentration that puckers the cheeks, leaving a salty flourish and lime tones that slowly fade.
