Score 89-92/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Oak and candied citrus skin on the nose. Fat, silky and powerful, with major sweetness and rather low acidity. A large mouthful of wine without great definition, yet it wears its 13.8% alcohol gracefully. A rather honeyed style of Batard, without the structure for extended improvement in bottle. Finishes with slight warmth.
