Tasting notes
Pale to medium ruby in color, the 2015 Pinot Noir Pelos Sandberg Vineyard gives aromas of dried red and black cherry and cranberry with notes of dried leaves, warm earth, leather, potpourri and spice. Light to medium-bodied, it's red-fruited in the mouth with spicy/savory notions, a soft frame of grainy tannins and juicy acidity to carry the spicy finish. 402 cases produced.

Limpid ruby-red. A complex, expansive bouquet evokes fresh black raspberry, sassafras, pungent flowers and vanilla, and a smoky mineral note lends nervy lift. Sappy and concentrated yet lively as well, offering palate-staining dark berry, bitter cherry and cola flavors that tighten up slowly on the back half. Delivers a suave blend of richness and energy and finishes with excellent clarity, well-knit tannins and a whiplash of sweet dark fruit.
