Tasting notes
Score 91/100 · Robert Parker, Nov 2013

At 14% alcohol one could say this wine is undersized compared to the previous vintages of Sweeney Canyon Chardonnay. Nevertheless, there is a lot to like with the notes of lemon, butter, and Thai lemon grass intermixed with hints of orange rind, honeysuckle, and roasted nuts. Less complex than the 2002, 2001, and 2000, and on a faster evolutionary track, it is still vigorous and exuberant, and should drink well for at least another decade.
