2005 Brewer-Clifton Chardonnay Sweeney Canyon

One of my favorites and a whopper of a wine that at 16.4% alcohol, there is not a trace of heat or palate burn in this large scale very concentrated Chardonnay. Very full and sweet notes of orange blossoms and assorted citrus oils, wet rocks, in a full-bodied, very well delineated, crisp and fresh style. This wine shows no oak whatsoever, and seems extremely young and set for a very long life, although there is no reason defer your gratification.
