Tasting notes
The 2021 Red Wine Two Acres, Carlisle's Mourvèdre-based field blend, is superb. Elegant and aromatic, the 2021 offers up an exotic mix of cedar, tobacco, dried flowers, mint and spice. This is one of the most elegant, polished vintages of the Two Acres I can remember tasting. The 2021 is quite frankly, a revelation. It is one of my favorite vintages of the Two Acres and may represent an upwards reset in terms of quality for this bottling. Don't miss it!

Deep ruby to purple hued, the 2021 Two Acres is resinous with pine sap and forest earth and potent with black cherry. Ripe and pure on the palate, with a generous, silky texture, and notes of vanilla bean, blackcurrants, and smoky earth, it’s long and full on the finish. Drink it over the next 15 years.
