Score 97/100 · Drink 2016-2036, Robert Parker, Oct 2016

A real show-stopper is the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Duration, which has some Cabernet Franc in the blend and comes principally from the Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard. This is a large-scale, savory, dense purple wine with notes of forest floor, white flowers, crème de cassis and graphite, followed by a full-bodied, dense, multilayered Cabernet Sauvignon with low acidity, sweet tannin and unmistakable wet gravel/crushed rock minerality. This opulent, voluptuously textured wine should drink beautifully for 15-20 or more years.
