Score 93/100 · Drink 2006-2018, Robert Parker, Aug 2006

The 2003 Pandora (a blend of Syrah and Grenache) could easily pass for a wine from Provence or the southern Rhone Valley. Its dense purple color is accompanied by scents of truffles, underbrush, garrigue, pepper, black fruits, and berries. Full-bodied and meaty, it is a complex, gorgeously rich, intense wine that should keep for 10-12 years. Sadly, production is less than 100 cases. Tel. (805) 546-0305
