Glass-staining purple. Pungent, exotic aromas of dark berry preserves, olive, lavender and smoky Indian spices. Stains the palate with intense blueberry and mulberry flavors, picking up notes of bitter chocolate and spicecake with aeration. Finishes juicy and focused, with alluring sweetness and excellent persistence.

About the producer

Martinelli
Martinelli is a Sonoma benchmark for vineyard-designate bottlings—wines built to highlight how strongly a single site can shape Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Zinfandel. Across the range, the focus stays consistent: small-production bottlings that feel distinctly tied to where they’re grown.
