Tasting notes
The 2018 Pinot Noir Gloria Estate is another very expressive wine in the range. Deep and pliant, the Estate is a wine of real depth. Blackberry, blueberry, lavender and spice infuse the Gloria with striking layers of complexity and nuance. The Gloria is a blend of five clones, all co-fermented. The 2018 is a terrific edition of the Gloria.

Medium ruby, the 2018 Pinot Noir Gloria Estate has lovely aromas of cranberry and red cherry jelly, laurel, cinnamon stick and amaro with an earthy undercurrent. Medium-bodied, the palate offers juicy, spicy, lifted fruits with a grainy frame and nuanced finish. 484 cases produced.
Also from the Green Valley of the Russian River, the 2018 Pinot Noir Gloria Estate offers a beautiful bouquet of black raspberries, candied orange peel, spice box, and earth. Brought up in 25% new French barrels, it has a kiss of background oak, good acidity, and enough tannins to keep it drinking nicely for 4-6 years. It packs ample fruit and is a pleasure-bent beauty.
