Rochioli's 2013 Chardonnay Sweetwater is one of the brighter wines in the range, much of that coming from the location of this hillside parcel. Lemon curd, white flower, spices and mint are woven into the soft, textured finish. This is an incredibly inviting Chardonnay from Tom Rochioli.

Corton-Charlemagne-like scents of white currants, wet rocks, honeyed citrus and pears jump from the glass of the exquisite 2013 Chardonnay Sweetwater (an Old Wente selection from Kistler’s ranch). A gorgeous texture builds incrementally to a medium to full-bodied, pure white wine that admirably displays Tom Rochioli’s craftsmanship. Drink it over the next 5-7 years.
