Score 88+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous

Good medium-dark ruby. Inky, black fruit aromas. Supple entry, then a bit dry in the middle palate, with the tannins cutting off the fruit. This has excellent delineation but I'd like to have seen a bit more sweetness of fruit, especially given the ripeness of the vintage.
