Tasting notes
The 2016 Zinfandel Cedarman Vineyard (which contains around 20% Petite Sirah) reveals a pure, fruit-driven bouquet of ripe cherries and cassis. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and chunky, with a fleshy core of fruit that only partially conceals the firm, chewy mountain tannins that assert themselves on the long finish.

The 2016 Zinfandel Cedarman is fabulous. Rich, deep and intense, the 2016 is one of the most characterful, resonant wines in this range. Dark cherry, plum, chocolate, leather, smoke and licorice all develop in the glass. Yields were down nearly 70% in 2016. Because of that, the Cedarman is remarkably deep and powerful. Don't miss it.
