Tasting notes
The 2010 Morey St. Denis emerges from the glass with fragrant notes of mint, followed by hard candy and juicy red cherries. It possesses lovely energy and striking inner perfume through to the finish. The Morey is the most successful of these village wines from Maison Méo-Camuzet.

Good medium red. Raspberry, strawberry, clove and mocha on the nose. The palate offers good texture and stuffing, with a saline complexity to the cherry and fresh herb flavors. Finishes with sweet tannins and very good length. This, too, should be accessible early.

This is an attractive set of wines from Jean-Nicolas Meo's negociant operation. Importer: Kermit Lynch, Berkeley, CA; tel. (510) 524-1524
