Score 89/100 · Drink 2007-2012, David Schildknecht, Wine Advocate, Apr 2007
As in most vintages an excellent old vines value (grown across the road from Mazoyeres and Champs-Chenys), the Arlaud 2005 Bourgogne Roncevie displays a nose of fresh black cherry, a juicy, pungently spicy palate impression incorporating notes of citrus rind and horseradish, and a penetrating, bright finish of clear, pure fruit, nippy spiciness, but remarkably refined tannins. Relish this over the next 3-5 years. A Peter Vezan Selection (various importers), Paris; fax 011 33 1 42 55 42 93.
