Tasting notes
The 2013 Uproar Cabernet Sauvignon , which is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, displays a classic opaque purple color, sweet creme de cassis, blackberry, gamy foresty notes, sweet tannin and a luscious, heady finish. This beautiful Cabernet Sauvignon should drink well for 10-15 years.

A new wine from Mark Herold, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Uproar is ripe, flashy and seductive. In other words, classic Mark Herold. Inky, jammy and deeply spiced, the 2013 fleshes out beautifully in the glass. There is plenty of up-front intensity and pure deliciousness here. This is fruit from Stagecoach, on Atlas Peak, a site that tends to produce broad tannins. Herold has done a terrific job in taming some of that rusticity.
