Tasting notes
Darker salmon-hued, the 2022 Merlot Prince Of Hearts Rose has beautiful wild strawberry, orange blossom, and subtle spicy notes to go with a medium-bodied, supple, layered, seamless style on the palate. It's not a ros for a hot summer day and will shine on the dinner table, but it stays nicely balanced, elegant, and finishes clean and dry. It's a classy ros to enjoy over the coming 6 months or so.

One of America's priciest pinks, the 2022 Prince Of Hearts Rosé Paradise Hills Vineyard is a barrel-fermented rosé of Merlot, from the estate vineyard just west of Dominus. Hints of cherries and watermelon penetrate the oaky veneer, joined by peach and melon flavors. It's a medium-bodied, creamy-textured rosé, distinctive and compelling. Despite the year's heat spikes, this has come through in flying colors.
