Tasting notes
So plush, generous and mouth-coating, offering posh spices, very ripe and inviting fruit flavors and plenty of handsome oak spices. A broad, velvety texture wraps up strawberry, black cherry, blueberry, cinnamon, nutmeg and orange zest flavors that swell on the palate and linger in the finish. Drink now or hold.

Matured in 80% new French oak for 22 months, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III unfurls dramatically on the nose: chocolate-covered cherries and five spice powder give way to nuances of rose petals, cigar box and thyme. The palate is seamless, balancing a concentrated well of flavor with incredibly silky tannins and fireworks of fresh acidity, and it has a long, nuanced finish. It will be long lived in the cellar. 210 cases were made.
Dark purple in color, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III Vineyard has a polished feel, with aromas of fresh leather, cigar box, sweet tobacco, blackcurrants, gravelly earth, and menthol. It floats on the palate with plush richness, and it’s long on the palate, so it’s going to need time. It has a velvety, evenly balanced feel, with a seamless texture and haunting weightlessness. Drink 2027-2047.
