Tasting notes
The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières exhibits an inviting bouquet of citrus oil, wheat toast and spiced pear. Medium to full-bodied, ample and enveloping, it's fleshy and charming, with lively acids and creditable depth at the core. While it's quite a precocious Folatières, I can see it tightening up with a little bottle age.

The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatières 1er Cru comes from a single parcel in the middle of the vineyard next to Jean-Michel Chartron. It has an elegant bouquet of orange blossom, nectarine and light praline aromas that blossom in the glass. The palate is fresh and quite saline on the entry, offering notes of orange peel and tangerine and delivering modest weight in the mouth and good length. It just needs a little more mineral tension on the finish.
