Bright medium red. Redcurrant, cherry, iron and smoky underbrush on the nose. Lovely lift and mineral tension to the flavors of strawberry and earth. Not a fleshy wine but very intensely flavored and perfumed, offering terrific subtle lingering sweetness and no rough edges. Finishes with a whiff of exotic flowers.
