Straw-gold. Exotic nutmeg and cinnamon spice, minerals and a waxy, semillon-like quality on the nose, along with a saline/violet note that reminded me of sea salt from the Camargue. Very dry, minerally and uncompromising, but not hard. Finishes juicy and firm, with a pear flavor and a hint of resiny, nutty oak. Much fresher than a bottle I tasted a year ago.
