Score 90-93/100 · Drink 1994-2009, Robert Parker, Apr 1994
All of this fledgling Napa Valley winery's first releases have been impressive. Their glorious 1992 possesses an opaque dark purple color, and a huge nose of sweet cassis fruit, herbs, vanillin, and spice. This plump, corpulent wine is loaded with ripe fruit, has enough underlying acidity to hold its ample component parts together, and finishes with richness, authority, and definition. As with many 1992s, it will drink well early, but it should last for at least 15 years. Impressive!
