Peach and apple butter on the nose. Fat, rich and sweet, with enticing fruit-driven flavors of white peach, nectarine and dusty spices; I would have picked this as Meursault. Offers lovely texture and maintains its shape on the back end.

Discreet aromas of nuts, marzipan and spices. Then juicy and rather subtle in the mouth, with flavors of peach, nuts and spices and a firmer texture than most of the foregoing premier crus from Chassagne-Montrachet. Finishes with good flavor intensity and a slight oaky dry edge. Along with the Caillerets and Ruchottes, this is the 2003 premier cru with the healthiest natural acidity, notes Ramonet.
