The 2016 Pinot Noir Santa Rita Hills is another appellation blend (mostly from Sanford & Benedict yet includes La Rinconada and Sierra Madre) and spent 13 months in 20% new French oak. Black cherries, cranberries, violets, and sappy herb notes all flow to a juicy, lively nicely balanced effort that has good acidity and a clean finish. It's slightly straightforward but is a charming drink with plenty to love.
