Score 88/100 · Drink 2011-2021, Robert Parker, May 2011

The 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon (actually 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Merlot) displays chocolate espresso notes along with some damp earth and black currants in a medium-bodied, drinkable style that has shed most of its tannin. The wine has a nice lushness, and the finish is very good, with no hard edges. It should drink nicely for another decade or more. Tel. (707) 967-4188
