Tasting notes
Limestone. RS 3.6 g/l, TA 7.04 g/l. Exotically spiced and very distinctive. Cedar too. Complex flavours of spice and cedary citrus. Crisp and tastes bone dry even with RS 3.3 g/l. (JH)

From a small, steep, limestone vineyard just east of the Brand, the 2013 Riesling Heimbourg is still somewhat closed and untamed on the lemon-fruity nose. Austerely pure, mineral and fresh on the palate, this is a lean, bone dry and very challenging Riesling with grip and lemon flavors. Not easy to judge it at this stage, but it surely has the potential for a better score in the future.
