Tasting notes
Shimmering gold. Powerful aromas of ripe tropical and pit fruits are accompanied by building spice and floral accents. In a lush, generous style, offering juicy mango, white peach, lemon curd and honeydew melon flavors and a subtle tarragon flourish. Finishes very long and silky, with resonating florality and a hint of marzipan.

I always love the white from this estate and consider it one of the best Rhône whites in California. The 2019 White is no exception and checks in as 50% Roussanne, 23% Viognier, 10% Chardonnay, and the rest Marsanne. The Viognier is front and center on the nose, and this beauty offers a blockbuster styled bouquet of apricots, caramelized nectarines, flowers, and honey with plenty of nuance and complexity. Rich, full-bodied, and opulent on the palate, it has a touch of toasty, spicy character, a mouthfilling texture, and a great finish. It’s going to shine on the dinner table over the coming year or two.
