Tasting notes
Limpid yellow. Ripe citrus, orchard and tropical fruits on the highly perfumed nose, along with suggestions of honey, jasmine and vanilla. Lush but lively as well, offering sappy pear nectar, melon and papaya flavors that firm up steadily through the back half. A hint of bitter orange pith adds cut to a long, subtly smoky finish that echoes the floral and vanilla notes. 50% new French oak.

The 2020 White has plush aromas of quince, honeysuckle and white pepper with undertones of roasted almonds and beeswax. The palate is satiny and polished with savory layers and a very long finish that buzzes with energetic acidity despite the generosity of the fruit. I expect this will gain more savory complexity over the next 5-8 years in bottle.
