Inky ruby. Sexy, oak-spiced aromas of cherry-cola, cassis and dried rose, with a hint of licorice that gains strength with air. Chewy, penetrating dark fruit flavors show very good depth and notes of smoked meat, chewing tobacco and bitter chocolate. Becomes sweeter with air and finishes with good tannic grip and spicy persistence. I'd decant this for a couple of hours if I were drinking it any time soon.
