The 2002 Syrah Roll Ranch possesses the blue/black color characteristic of this vineyard. The in-your-face, full-throttle, blue and blackberry fruit intermixed with a hint of espresso roast are followed by oodles of blue and black fruit flavors. This is viscous, voluptuous Syrah at its finest. A low acid, opulent, juicy, thick effort, it should be immensely gratifying to drink over the next 10-12 years.
