Score 90/100 · Drink 2008-2013, Jay S Miller, Wine Advocate, Oct 2008

The 2006 Pinot Noir Shea Vineyard is medium ruby-colored with an expressive perfume of pain grille, cherry, and raspberry. Elegantly styled with sweet racy red fruits and good acidity, this moderately lengthy effort can be enjoyed over the next five years. Raptor Ridge’s first vintage was in 1995. It owns 27 acres in the Chehalem Mountains AVA with 18 planted plus long-term contracts. The winery is currently producing 6-7000 cases annually. Tel. (503) 367-4263; www.raptorridge.com
