Score 88/100 · Drink 2025-2030, Matthew Luczy, Wine Advocate, Sep 2024

The 2022 Tempranillo was aged in high-toast 320-liter cigar barrels for 18 months and displays this clearly throughout. The nose is dominated by dark fruits, dark chocolate and cappuccino aromas, seemingly entirely derived from its treatment. The palate is much of the same, marked by the immense ripeness, concentration and polish found across the Booker lineup, finishing on a monolithic note.
