Tasting notes
All destemmed and from a mix of sites, aged 20 months in 65% new barrels, the 2022 Pinot Noir Kokoro just about jumps out of the glass with its framboise and darker strawberry-like fruits, which turn more to notes of spice, sappy flowers, sassafras, and camphor with time in glass. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has a classic 2022 supple mouthfeel, beautiful balance, rock-solid (and surprising) structure, and a great finish. It's light ruby and translucent, but this beauty brings ample intensity. It's one of the top Pinot Noirs in the vintage.

The 2022 Pinot Noir Kokoro is a very pretty wine that captures the more floral, perfumed side of the year. Crushed flowers, red berry fruit, rose petal, orange peel and spice make a strong first impression. Medium in body, with lovely freshness and brightness, the 2022 is impeccably done.
